The days where it made sense to directly code a website in HTML are over.  The wave of the future is to use  a content management system (CMS) to manage the content of a website. We use Joomla! (it means together in Swahili) as the CMS of choice for website creation.

Joomla! is a professional quality CMS used by many organisations around the world. From the corner shop right up to multi-national companies Joomla! can fit the bill. Joomla! is an Open Source project based around what has become known as LAMP that is Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP.  Open Source projects are provided for all to use for no charge.

Joomla! is rapidly developing and growing in popularity with thousands of websites all over the world.

One feature that Content Management Systems provide is the ability to significantly change the look of a site without affecting the content. This means that as style preferences change over time the website can have a new look with very little  change to the underlying data.
